Talk to Chen the Sharp in Liyue

Dark Iron Sword is obtainable by talking to Chen the Sharp, the Street Food Vendor, near the southern Waypoint in Liyue Harbor. You'll need to pick the dialogue that gifts you the item!

Get from a Chest in Chenyu Vale

Genshin - Chenyu Vale Dark Iron Sword

You can another Dark Iron Sword in the Wangshan Hall cave inside Mt. Lingmeng at the center of Chenyu Vale. You can get this inside this cave during Scrolls and Sword Manuals of Guhua quest, right after finding the Secret Stashed in the Arcane Archive!

You can find the chest in the second room, or the Secret Chamber facing the big circular arena sitting on a small ruins beside a torch.

As of the moment, you can only refine the Dark Iron Sword until Refinement Level 2. Make sure to lock the sword for safekeeping as it's an extremely rare weapon!
