Turns out theres a way to beat geo hypostasis without breaking the pillar (except the revival ones). You just have to be fast enough to do it. I found the tutorial on youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clsRvkGb3mg

NingGuang can attack the pillar as well, and she has higher attack than other 4 star claymore users ... only issue is aiming , lol

It's easier using Xiao or Diluc.

With pattern 1 when it fires the small rocks, it looks like if it's on top of a pillar when it does it, and you are beside/trying to break that same pillar, the rocks will hit the pillar instead of you.
