You actually have to use your brain while building 4 stars.... It's not just throwing BIS artifacts and weapons and calling it a day
what's the fun in one-shotting every enemy I personally like to use 4 stars more than 5 stars

what matters is getting 36 stars on the abyss and finalizing act 12 in IT and clear at least hard/fearless in the Stygian onslaught and that is totally possible using the game mechanics to your advantage
you can clearly see that guy said it requires skill but it's totally possible and many CC's do it
well... That's been the case for all the dps characters from 4.0 and below

what is the dps of Varesa c2 withsidth team with C6 Cheverus, C6 Iansan and Durin?
this post aged like milk flins now have new combos and with columbina his dps can reach 154k dps with a good sustain that is 15k dps higher than mavuika new combo with xilonen(that every body use in abyss instead of iansan) and the combo is way easier to do than mavuikas combo. ( i still think mavuika is better but you know flins can compete)
Exactly. "You can clear with 4-stars, game is easy" is never said by the people actually resetting dozens of times to be able to do it with one second remaining on the timer. (not to mention C6 4-stars aren't actually F2P-friendly at all)
Those 4-star clears are done with a crap-ton of resets, with hyper-refined artifacts, and a dash of masochism. Sure, it *might* be possible, but that's like doing a Level 1 Dark Souls run: That's more of a statement of you challenging yourself than the game's balance. And that's not even an accurate comparison when MHY designs enemies to force you at gunpoint to either: Use an ultra-specific 5-star character or demand you double/triple your DPS to make up for the forced time loss.
i dont like mavuika design but i dont want new characters to powercreep her that much that she demotes to A tier imagine that 200k dps becomes the norm in 2028 in genshin impact that would make the powercreep worse than hsr
well seeing these people I would like to say see where mavuika, skirk, flins, varesa and neffer end up in 1-2 years I won't be surprised if I found them in A tier just like raiden who was once SS
anyone remember Raiden during 2.1 ? During that time she was a must pull she was the strongest dps in the game and you could solo the abyss with her and you could put her in any team and that team could clear anything and where is she now? Got powercrept by hexrei Razor and fischl and all the other limited electro 5 stars
as a long term player I agree with the fact that chasing meta gets you nowhere and you stop enjoying the game itself just play the characters you like
but you do realize that it takes a good amount of skill and understanding which a majority of the playerbase doesn't have (skill issues to be precise)
yeah I don't give a damn about the meta no character will remain on top forever so I just like to use the characters I love the most I agree with your point
to me Meta doesn't really matter because if you understand the game mechanics properly then you can 36 star the abyss with just 4 star characters there are multiple cc's who've done this for ex:- Eakes and for IT you just need a lot of characters (16) so with good builds you can do this with only 4 stars too and for Stygian the first 3 difficulties are possible with just 4 stars (Easy, Medium, Hard) but Fearless, menacing and dire need some whaling
And Yelan is not BiS in Arlecchino teams either... Citlali is...
