Yeah that is Ayato's kit's issue that he can't get the double swirl but Childe can since he has the ability to apply riptide through his charged attack. We were initially comparing Xiao with Ayato so that's why I brought that constellation argument
so your point is? both of them use xianyun so? the thing is diluc objectively still have the shittier weapon out of the two but he has better multiplier, reactions and c6 bennett for better uptime.
my point is even his kazuha is c6, you only need c2 for that em buff. both childe and ayato uses the same kazuha so why the problem is only with c0 ayato using a whale kazuha? kazuha in general also has trouble to swirl hydro in ayato national as well so most of the time ayato is just vaporising by depending on bennetts buff.
and that atk changes literally nothing because there is a character named Xianyun in your team who decreases the value of atk stat because of her immense buff
C2 Kazuha is literally one of the biggest buffers in the entire game and if you watch carefully enough using your eyes he did not get hydro swirl there which is practically a 30% dps loss especially for this showcase because Childe needs that frontload to clear faster
while redhorn only useful for that crit dmg lol
homa still gives atk based on MAX HP.
he compensates with better raw dmg from NA instead of just applicating hydro for xl to vape. kazuha past c2 does nothing. the other are just 4 stars you say ayato is laughed at yet his clear time is tied with childe so? ayato is more effortless to build and play yet he is on par with childe so ig thats why his rank is higher.
Yeah so? How does the slight buff Xiao gets change anything? Not to mention you won't be seeing Xiao under 50% hp so you don't even make use of its full passive
You are right, c2 description is misleading. Still though, Diluc's c1 is still a bigger upgrade over Xiao's c5 which is only a 1.2% dps increase in FFXX team
He can't vape every hit due to ICD problems+dealing that damage above 100k twice in a whole rotation is nowhere near great+literally a c6 r5 Kazuha (c2 is huge and freedom sworn is a strong buffer) Ayato is laughed about in theorycrafting communities because of his mediocre hypercarry capability and it is funny how Childe would perform better there even without Kazuha constellations. Guess what? Ayato is ranked higher than Childe her somehow
no lol. his c2 doesnt even work with furina. all his cons are trash. like i said he only have cracked plunge multiplier and ofc cracked reaction like vape/melt to hit big numbers even at c0.
yea and guess what? xiao likes the extra atk from homa while def is completely useless on diluc. redhorn is only bis rn because other claymores are even worse for him. true bis is crit weapon giving some atk or em for him as passive.
are you dense genuine question? who even uses c0 ayato with furina? here if you struggle to find it.
Redhorn is also BiS for Diluc and Homa has hp converting atk instead of def converting atk as its passive which both characters don't scale with. Homa is also only a stat stick and only better than PJWS because stacking PJWS hits do not synergize well due to your first 8 plunges being buffed by Xianyun.
you know homa is like bis for xiao right? better than pjws even. while the def and na/ca from redhorn is such useless passive for plunge diluc. only the high crit dmg is useful as statstick.
Diluc's c1 and c2 (Furina exclusive) boost the plunge damage way more compared to Xiao's c5 which gets affected by diminishing returns a lot
yeah he's c0 and he deals around 30k per slash with c2 Furina, where is that 100k slashes again?
let me tell you its the same for diluc. diluc constellations are way worse than xiao lol. diluc only has cracked high plunge multiplier to carry himself.
Xiao's constellations do nothing for his damage+I have C3 Diluc with Redhorn and NA crowned and C0 Xiao with Homa triple crowned, Diluc only deals 10/7 of the damage Xiao deals and that is not to say he is inconsistent and has smaller dps window even though they share pretty much the same rotation time
