Completing the previous quest, The Realm of Clouds, will automatically unlock The Realm of Rocks on its designated day!

Go to Bubu Pharmacy
After waiting for two days, go to Bubu Pharmacy, and you'll see Baizhu and Yelan talking. Under Ningguang's orders, Yelan was tasked to find more information about Lu Xiangxiang. However, while staying under the care of Baizhu, she disappeared out of thin air. Yelan suggests that she might be at Xiao Lantern crafting stalls
Go to the Xiao Lantern Crafting Stalls
The Xiao Lantern crafting stalls are located at the center of Liyue Harbor. Go to the stalls and search for Lu Xiangxiang. While browsing the stalls with Yelan, Gaming will join in, wishing he had an apprentice. Lu Xiangxiang will interject with a desire to be Gaming's apprentice. Yelan, who was searching for Lu Xiangxiang, confronted her immediately. During the confrontation, Zizhi - Zibai's Second Deadly Self will appear and transfer to Gaming, storming off the stalls.
Mountain Shaper and Mountain Carver will encounter the Zizhi-possessed Gaming. The encounter will result in Zizhi passing into Mountain Shaper, and fleeing to Mt. Aocang. Mountain Carver suggests convening with the other Adepti before pursuing him.
Find the Adepti in Liyue Harbor
Go to Yujing Terrace in Liyue Harbor to find Xianyun, Xiao, and Madame Ping all together. You and Mountain Carver relay the events that occurred with Gaming. Xianyun devised a plan to corner Zizhi by letting her possess the Traveler. With this plan in mind, the group set out to Mt. Aocang.
Go to Mt. Aocang
Arriving in Mt Aocang at Cloud Retainer's abode, you'll encounter Mountain Shaper, who has planted mints around the place. After a brief dialogue with him, Zizhi will appear once again, but this time she lets you inside her prison.
Escape the Waters of Time
Seeking to know the truth, Zizhi will test you to see if you can handle the forbidden truth that Zibai's soul has been holding. Keep running until you reach the end of the place to escape the onrush of TIme, along the way there will be wind currents to aid you in terrains.
Zizhi will tell you the story of Lang-Gan, the ancient civilization that once lived in The Chasm and worshipped Zibai and the Three Moons. Zibai was regarded as the God of Soil and Grain by the people of Lang-Gan, as she taught them how to grow grain and beans, among other things. Corrupted by the Abyss, Celestia has decided to cleanse Lang-Gan with a Celestial Nail, destroying the nation and its people. Istaroth was seen talking to Zibai as the Nail was about to land on Lang-Gan. Refusing to abandon her people, Zibai went against Heaven's will and perished. Istaroth preserved her moment of death and transported the surviving people of Lang-Gan to Chenyu Vale, where their descendants continue to live to this day.
Zizhi has decided to lend you the piece of Zibai's soul that resides in her. Returning to the present, you tell Xiao the events that happened in that short time. Xiao tells you to await Rex Lapis' return in two days, and the mission is concluded!
