How to Unlock Welkin Moon's Homecoming
Complete the Descending Moon Quest
Welkin Moon's Homecoming is unlocked right after completing the Descending Moon Archon Quest, which is the second part of the True Moon Archon Quest Chain.
Welkin Moon's Homecoming Walkthrough
Go to the Central Plaza in Nasha Town
Head out the door to leave The Flagship and watch the cutscenes with Ineffa, Aino, Flins, and Illuga. Afterwards, walk northeast towards the large crowd in the central plaza.
Head to the Port and Look for Your Companions
After several more cutscenes, it's time to bid farewell to the friends who are returning home. Use the southernmost teleport waypoint in Nasha Town to reach the port and meet up with Arlecchino and Hat Guy.
Meet up with Columbina
Once you've said your goodbyes, teleport to the waypoint at the Light-Bathed Platform to automatically trigger a cutscene and speak with Columbina.
Go to the Moon
To learn more about their past, the Traveler decides to follow Columbina to the Frost Moon. The journey to the moon is presented in a side-scrolling perspective, so just keep going right together with Columbina. At the end of the path, get on the moon-shaped boat and sit down.
Investigate the Spaceship
After reaching the Frost Moon, you'll find the spaceship just up ahead. Head north and approach the glowing spot to trigger the next cutscene.
Talk to Columbina
You'll be given the chance to sit down again and ask Columbina some questions about your next destination. Once you've seen enough, you can select That's all the questions I have for now to end the conversation.
Return to Teyvat
After bidding farewell to Columbina, hop down the spaceship and interact with the shining light found southwest to return to Teyvat. There will be one last cutscene with Varka back at Nasha Town to wrap up the quest.

Unlock New Talents for the Traveler
After completing Welkin Moon's Homecoming, all elemental versions of the Traveler will unlock new talents. Additionally, for every element the Traveler has resonated with, they'll receive attribute bonuses that are applied regardless of their current element.
However, the Talent and buffs for Cryo won't be applied yet as the Traveler hasn't resonated with the element yet at the current point in the story.

Get a New Outfit for the Traveler
The As Heaven and Earth Are Made Anew skin for the Traveler will also be unlocked after the quest. Lumine and Aether have different versions of the outfit, so you can only get the outfit of whoever you play as.
