OMG! I love you <3
For anyone who needs help, I was stuck too but figured out that whatever number it shows when looking at it front-facing of the block that's how many blocks it needs behind it. So look at each number from it's front (e.g. 3, make sure there's 3 blocks behind it's number, if more than 3, cut off the excess. If you look at a number 2 front-facing towards you, make sure there's 2 blocks behind it and just cut off the excess from that number, backwards. Just look at the no. of it's depth from front.
*Thank you* for explaining what the damn numbers actually mean in this, the most catastrophically badly explained puzzle in five years of this game. A tutorial which explained nothing and instructions which are confusing, contradictory and wrong. You explaining that the numbers refer to the z axis count is the only thing which made the third mandragora sculpture possible to complete.
i **HATED** that Puzzle. The in-game Tutorial was useless.
thank you so much this save me
for the second one, the one with 19 blocks, you need to count the "depth" on the line so if it says there should be 3 blocks on the "depth line" you need to count the blocks not on the lines you can see, but the ones you can't. hope it helps, my artistic skills are quite bad-
Wasn't able to take a picture of the last block but there is a row of 2/3/3, where each row has 3 blocks. The block to get rid of is the one that says 2! The red squares represent the 3 I deleted by the way, not the ones they are inherently circling.
For the one that needs 19 blocks broken, I can only break 15 that have zeros. Do I really have to guess the other 4 blocks? Because I really can’t figure this out. I’ve had to reset too many times.
Hey , I have a problem. When I should carve the stature of the witch with 19 blocks left, I only get to 17/19 ( with much guessing ) cause there are only 15 blocks with zeros and the rest you must guess. I had to reset it at least 6 times to even find out block 16 and 17. The last two blocks are not findable for me
should've just googled this immediately instead of figuring out a solution which is completely independent of what the tutorial and paimon say. better yet, they contradict each other. tutorial: the number on the blocks represents how many blocks should belong in that ROW paimon: the number on the blocks represents how many blocks should belong in that COLUMN reality: just remove blocks with 0 in it.
