Complete the When War Songs Rise Quest
To unlock The Last Night, the First Light, you must have completed the previous subquest of Nightingale's Song, When War Songs Rise! This is considered as Chapter 2 of Nightingale's Song.

The Last Night, the First Light Walkthrough
Talk to the Lightkeeper
Use the teleport waypoint in Piramida and head north towards the plaza. A cutscene will automatically play upon nearing it.
Nod-Krai Map Guide and How to Unlock
Report to the Old Man
Head inside the building and talk to Nikita, who's standing near the fireplace.
Load the Spiralblade
Approach the fireplace and interact with it to load the Spiralblade into it.
Go to the Plaza
You can ignore the monsters and head out to the plaza. You will see that a Moonlane has appeared towards the left side. Use it to reach the upper area where the amplifiers are.
Activate the Amplifiers
Before the Arrow of Terpikeraunas can be launched, the amplifiers need to be activated. Abyssal creatures will get in your way as you head towards each one, so you'll need to defeat them with lightblades and shield counterattacks.

| 1 |  On the first platform, the Serpent of All Evils will summon various Abyssal monsters. Strike them down with lightblades until the Serpent's HP goes all the way down. |
| 2 |  Take the next Moonlane to go upwards. On the next platform, the Ultimate Calamity will fire orbs of Abyssal energy at you this time. You must hold up the shield and counterattack by releasing once the shield flashes. |
| 3 |  Once the Ultimate Calamity is at half health, it will flee to a lower level. Use the Moonlane that appears to follow it. Continue using your shield's counterattacks to defeat the Ultimate Calamity. |
Go to the Control Room
After activating all the amplifiers, ride the Moonlane that appears to go to the top of the mechanism. From there, you can go through the open hatch to reach the control room.
Destroy the Cataclysm Egg
Activate the console and fire the Arrow of Terpikeraunas at the tower in the Pillar of Embla. The symbol in the middle should glow once the aim is positioned properly.
Go to the Great Mead Hall
After the successful operation, it's time to celebrate. Follow the quest marker and go into the Great Mead Hall to speak again with Illuga. With this, the quest chain is wrapped up!
