Bring Freeze Team
For the Advance Preparation, Freeze teams is a must have to reach high levels.
Fortunately, Skirk is available as a trial character. Pair her up with Hydro and Cryo characters, especially Escoffier and Furina, and consistently deal damage to frozen enemies, and players can comfortably clear this stage with high levels.

Bring Electro-Charged or Lunar-Charged Teams
For the Formal Engagement stage, Electro-Charged and Lunar-Charged are best to utilize the buffs acquired during Advanced Preparation.
Flins and Ineffa are highly recommended for this stage, but any teams that can satisfy the caveat of triggering Electro-Charged and Lunar-Charged would suffice.
How to Beat Low-Temperature Warning
Deal Damage Against Frozen Enemies in Advance Preparations
During Advance Preparations, make sure to bring units that can consistently apply Hydro and Cryo to freeze upcoming enemies.
Fortunately, the Free Trial character Skirk can satisfy this caveat since she is the premier Freeze DPS. It's recommended to form a team with Skirk in a 2 Cryo and 2 Hydro setup to consistently freeze enemies.
Electro-Charged or Lunar-Charged for Formal Engagement
Electro-Charged or Lunar-Charged can make easy work in this stage, even if you acquired a low level during Advanced Preparation.
Raiden paired with a Hydro Character is sufficient to clear this stage comfortably. Good Alternatives are Clorinde and Varesa.
