Complete the Prerequisite Quest
Unlock Echoes of Fate by completing the prerequisite quest in An Elegy for Faded Moonlight's quest chain, Dance of Death: Serpent and Scorpion!

Echoes of Fate Walkthrough
Discuss The Plan With Everyone
Starting off with this quest, go to the center of the Flagship and speak to everyone gathered to discuss the plan against Rerir.
Check on Everyone's Progress
For these interactions, you will automatically fast travel to the vicinity of the required people you must speak to, and this objective is more of a series of cutscenes.
Simply look for the marker and the characters and approach them to trigger a cutscene.
Look For Dori
Dori can be found at her station. Interacting with her will trigger a cutscene where she will explain how she came upon the lucky charm she presented at the meeting.
Look For Albedo and Durin
Albedo and Durin can be found on the west side of Hiisi Island, conducting an investigation into the Wild Hunt. Walk up to them to check in on them and trigger a cutscene.
Go to the Frostmoon Enclave
Lauma and Varka can be found talking to the Frostmoon Scions in this area, with Varka swearing to keep them safe while Lauma prepares for the encounter with Rerir.
Talk to Dainsleif
Approaching midway into this objective will trigger a cutscene between Dainsleif and Columbina, with the latter offering the former a different perspective on the conflict.
Eventually, the Traveler will come in to check on them and the talk will conclude.
Go to the Agreed Location
Once everything has been checked, proceed to the agreed location, where Flins will be waiting for the Traveler and their companions to meet Rerir.
Defeat the "Rächer of Solari" Rerir Part 1
Combat Strategy
As the fight starts, you will have access to the Traveler, Nefer, Lauma, Flins, and Aino. Aino herself is more of a momentary Hydro applicator, so you must take advantage of Hydro's uptime as much as you can.
Start with Aino's supportive presence, then use Lauma's Elemental Skill to generate Verdant Dew. When the Verdant Dew is full, use Nefer to deal a chunk of burst damage, and swap to Flins during everything else's downtime. The fight will switch up once Rerir reaches half health.
Follow Lauma's Hymn of Hunting
When Rerir reaches 75% HP, he will summon a thick mist into the area and become invisible. Lauma's hymn of hunting deer will periodically show up on the field, guiding the player to Rerir's current location.
Follow this deer until you see an outline of Rerir within the mist, where the next part of this sequence will trigger.
Use the Lightkeeper's Lantern
Once Rerir is close enough to strike the player in the mist, swap to Flins and use the special gadget button to use the Lightkeeper's Lantern to dissolve the fog and illuminate Rerir.
Doing this twice will completely dispel the fog and continue the fight.
Defeat the "Rächer of Solari" Rerir Part 2
Combat Strategy
With only Nefer and the Traveler left, your goal is to juggle damage between the two and bring Rerir to near-half health again. This is achievable by stepping away from combat when Nefer's abilities are on cooldown, then stepping in to perform her rotation when they are ready.
This part of the fight is also scripted, so your characters will automatically be revived upon death, ensuring that you will be able to complete this without fail.
Absorb Kuuvahki Three Times
At 60% HP, Rerir will fly into the air and beginning channeling a series of AoE attacks that target the ground that the player is standing on.
Kuuvahki will spawn during this time, and you must absorb three of them, then hit Nefer's Elemental Burst when the prompt appears. This is the last part of the fight and will end it.
Go to the Flagship
Once you regain control of your character, step out of your room and walk into the Flagship to trigger a talk between the Traveler, Albedo, and Durin.
Speak to Nefer afterwards to check up on her.
Listen to What Everyone is Talking About
This is the last batch of cutscenes, with the first being an exchange between Nefer and Dori, and the second a talk between Varka, Albedo, and Durin.
Simply walk up to both tables to trigger cutscenes. After the second cutscene, control will be taken away from the player and begin a final sequence of cutscenes between Columbina and Sandrone, ending this quest.
