A Moonlane is a traveling mechanic introduced in Genshin Impact Luna I. See how to use Moonlanes to get around Nod-Krai and details about them here!
List of Contents
When you spot a glowing aurora-like stream of light in the air while traversing Nod-Krai, you will be prompted to transform into a Kuuhenki and ride it if you wish.
Pan the camera either left or right to determine which direction you want to go. You'll know which direction you're about to take via the arrow that will appear.

Once your direction has been finalized, simply ride the Moonlane to your destination.
In certain quests and puzzles, you may be required to interact with surrounding objects while riding a Moonlane, such as obstacles that block your path or threats that can cause DMG.
In some cases, several Moonlanes will be present in an area, and you may have to change Moonlanes to keep the ride going. Upon dismounting one Moonlane, pan the camera to the next one you wish to mount and continue riding.
Don't worry too much about timing, as you will automatically open your windglider a few seconds after dismounting a Moonlane, giving you ample time to react.

Moonlanes are streams of light that you can use to travel long distances and access hard-to-reach areas. Upon riding a Moonlane, you will automatically transform into a Kuuhenki to ride it.
In some cases, however, like in Part 4 of Song of the Welkin Moon Archon Quest Act 2, Elegy of Dust and Lamplight, you may retain your original form.
