When they enter their enhanced state you use their own element or lunar-reactions to knock them out of it. When in normal state they are immune to that element. Just a terrible enemy design to sell the lunar reactions that don't even trigger properly.
Not helping! Tutorial is confusing about them as it sais you need to attack them with their own element, but they are IMMUNE to their own element. So why the hell would you do that?
