Complete the Fulminations and Undercurrents Quest
To unlock The Dark Side of Memory, you must have completed the previous subquest of Elegy of Dust and Lamplight, Fulminations and Undercurrents!

The Dark Side of Memory Walkthrough
Go to Hiisi Island and Give the Medicine
At the start of the quest, you'll be prompted to go to Hiisi Island to give the medicine to Lauma. Telport to the Waypoint at the Light-Bathed Platform to automatically trigger the conversation with Lauma.
Go to See The Damselette
After Lauma gives you a short glimpse into the Traveler's memory of their spaceship, teleport to the Waypoint within The Damselette's resting spot and check on at her there.
The Traveler will help The Damselette regain her strength and learn a bit more about Rerir as well as their landing in Nod-Krai way back then. With this new information, Paimon and the Traveler take their leave.

Unlock Selenic Chronicles
Upon completing The Dark Side of Memory, you will unlock the Selenic Chronicles feature. Here, you can visit The Damselette again to claim various rewards after completing a certain number of quests.
In addition, your party will temporarily gain the New Moon's Embrace Effect, which sets your party's Moonsign Level to Ascendant Gleam whenever you're in Nod-Krai.
