Well in 5.7 you learn that the vision of the timeline we had was wrong. In fact, the game begins with Asmoday separating the twins, when they are trying to leave Teyvat, right after the cataclysm
i have complete all archon quests and before the 5.7 stroyline it was said, that the goddess split up the twins and send them to Teyvat.

You aren't caught up on the Archon quest, are you? The traveler and the abyss twin arrived in a space ship with a hibernation chamber. The fight in the beginning of the game was 500 years after their arrival on Teyvat.
i think i can't argue against your inspector point. Because i would only loose. The one thing, that i again the scifi robotics (ineffa) is that it is mention in the story that fontain is the most current advanced technologie nation. Now is a character introduced, that is more advanced than fontain. My main point to be against it, is that elements are added which does not really have a need to be added.
i agree with your first sentence. Genshin has some high tech elements, but the most elements are limited to mechanical components. The traveler is literally an alien, but he/she was send by an unkown god to teyvat. In the beginng we can see the fight in something like a dimension between the worlds or on another planet. Because of an existing dimension travel point (like skirk do) there is no need for an ufo.By your second sentence, the purification is a good example, but not the only one
in sumeru we had this puppet thing and a robot, also an inspector things with internet and advanced stuff, later in fontaine we had robots and sci fi things too, the story sti going, inazuma and mondstad were to some extend the story was simar because it was write together
we have had bots, tech puzzles, and the traveler themselves are literally aliens all since the beginning of the game. The only less the story has been from the beginning was that the mc purifying ability of the abyss was forgotten about till natlan.
Ufos and scifi robotics. The longer the story goes on, the less it has to do with the begonning. That is just sad
