The main storyline remains unchanged whether you keep or give the key to Direidyth. The scene and dialogues during the exchange with the Abyss twin are identical, with the addition of a minor scene if you choose to keep it, but the outcome remains the same.

However, when you select the Give the Key option, the Key to the “Hibernation Chamber” item that you obtained earlier in the quest will be removed from your inventory. So, if you wish to keep the key as a memento, choose Keep the Key.

The Key Will Remain in Your Inventory

Choosing the second option and keeping the key means that the Key to the “Hibernation Chamber” item will remain in your inventory. During the conversation, the Abyss twin will also toss their copy of the key towards Direidyth's. This means that Direidyth's history and fate will remain unchanged.
