How to Verify Your Age
Sign In Your Email on Hoyoverse or In-Game
You can verify your age either via HoYoverse's official website or from the in-game title screen.
Verify On The Official Hoyoverse Website

| 1 |  Log-in your email in the Official Hoyoverse website. Once logged in, you will be sent to the Account Center menu. |
| 2 |  Click on the Personal Information tab on the left side of your screen and select Update Birthday. |
You can reach the Age or Birthday verification option by logging into your HoYoVerse account, navigating to the Account Center and then updating your birthday under Personal Information.
If you are required to Age Verify, the Update Birthday option will be there, and will be absent if you are exempt from the verification process.

Verify In-Game Title Screen

Starting May 20, 2025, a prompt will appear on the Genshin Impact title screen to allow you to verify your age, bypassing the need to do it through the website.
As mentioned, if your account is not verified by July 20, 2026, your account will be deleted.
HoYoVerse Age Verification Information
Age Verification Requirement
Starting May 20, 2025, all US players must verify their ages on their accounts in order to continue playing Genshin Impact. This verification process will start from that time and end around July 18, 2025 without consequence.
This was made as a recent requirement by HoYoVerse in accordance with US Law.

After July 18, 2025, failure to verify your account will result in its suspension, the deletion of in-game friends and chat records, and the absence of future notifications due to account suspension.
Moreover, if your account is not verified at all by July 20, 2026, then your account will be deleted permanently.
