How to Unlock The Hunger of Many only use this if subquest #2 onwards
Complete the Crimes One and Two Quest
To unlock The Hunger of Many, you must have completed the previous subquest of Paralogism, Crimes One and Two!
The Hunger of Many Walkthrough
Provide Mobile Support to Various Areas in the City
After Albedo's retrial, you will be automatically teleported outside the Church of Favonius. There is the optional dialogue with Jean and Mona at the plaza.
Talk to Venti to Skip Optional Objectives
You can only complete optional objectives before you talk to Venti, who will be standing by a small fountain directly south of the Favonius Headquarters.
(Optional) Go to the City Center
If you go to the city center, you will find Sucrose at the crafting table. You can trigger a cutscene with her and will have to fight monsters using Trial versions of Diluc, Kaeya, and Sucrose herself.
After defeating the monsters, head straight down outside the main city gates for an extra cutscene!
(Optional) Go to the Residential Area
If you head to the residential area behind The Cat's Tail, you can talk to Fischl! You will then need to defeat hilichurl enemies using Trial Albedo, Trial Fischl, and your current Traveler built.
(Optional) Go to the Angel's Share
You will find Lisa and Razor at the Angel's Share, fighting off a group of monsters. You will need to use Trial versions of Albedo, Lisa, and Razor along with your current Traveler build to fight.
Fend off the Monsters with Diluc and Kaeya
After talking to Venti, you will be brought outside the city gates where you can only use Diluc and Kaeya to fight off three waves of hilichurls, Ice Shieldwall Mitachurls, and a Frostarm Lawachurl.
After completing the fight, more cutscenes will be triggered.
Treat the Wounded with Barbara
Use Barbara's Elemental Skill and stick close to the knights to heal them. Heal all five knights to progress the quest.
Fend off the Monsters with Amber
Afterwards, you will have to fight off Cryo Hilichurls on top of the city walls using Amber and Mika! You can use the terrain to your advantage and shoot at the enemies from above.
Go to Mondstadt's Side Gate
Once the next round of cutscenes are done, there will be optional objectives which you can only do before going to Mondstadt's side gate.
(Optional) Go to the Plaza
If you head north of the plaza and down a set of stairs, you can help Noelle defeat some enemies. You will only be able to use Trial Noelle, Albedo and your current Traveler.
(Optional) Go to the Angel's Share
If you did not go to Angel's Share the first time, you can still find Lisa and Razor there this time around! You can help them fend off the monsters attacking the tavern.
(Optional) Go to The Cat's Tail
You can head to The Cat's Tail and talk to Diona briefly.
(Optional) Check Beneath the Windmill
If you go to the base of the windmill in the city, you can find Bennett and the NPC Vile and have a chat with them as well.
Fend off the Monsters with Eula and Klee
Once at the side gate, you'll run into Eula. After a short conversation, you will need to fight Ruin Guards and Ruin Graders using Trial Eula, Albedo, and your Traveler. Klee will also join the fight, but only with automated attacks.
Return to the Center of Mondstadt
Head to the fountain at the city center to regroup with everyone and catch the mastermind of the invasion!
Talk to Jean
After the cutscene, you will automatically appear inside the Knights of Favonius Headquarters. Go into Jean's office to continue your conversation.
Once the conversation with Albedo and everyone else is done, this sub-quest is complete and the third sub-quest will begin!
