When slotting Venti for Windborne Bard's challenge, you have the option of fully slotting into an EM build or a CRIT hybrid build.
In this case, the EM build is recommended as it requires less effort and generally gives you more room to build up Venti's Energy Recharge, which he desperately needs regardless of which build you run.

Venti's choice of weapons mostly cater towards stacking his Energy Recharge or Elemental Mastery, giving him helpful passives that aid his ability damage, or both.
To that end, Elegy for the End still remains his best option as it ticks off all the boxes, with Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage as a good contender if slotting Venti for CRIT hybrid.

Due to Venti's reliance on Swirl DMG on the second phase of this challenge, a 4-pc. Viridescent Venerer set is his best option as most, if not all of your opponents will be elemental in nature, giving you plenty of Swirl opportunities.
As a low-investment alternative, Venti can pick up a 2-pc. Anemo DMG Bonus set of either Viridescent Venerer or Desert Pavilion Chronicle, and mix that with a 2-pc. ATK set with better substats to achieve a similar effect.

When running Venti with his Elemental Mastery build, prioritize getting Energy Recharge to around 180% as that allows him to have his Burst off-cooldown with two Elemental Skill uses during its downtime.
As for the hybrid build, look for a 1:2 CRIT Ratio and around 2,000 ATK, making sure to also bring his Energy Recharge to at least 160% ER.
The first part of Windborne Bard requires you to use Venti's Elemental Skill Hold to glide into the air and pass through an obstacle course with three platforms and lasers.
You will be given 2 minutes to pass through the domain's pitfall, with the last platform requiring you to pick up three Anemo particles that will summon a current to get you across the final laser net.
Take your time when passing through the lasers, especially if it is a risky maneuver, as Venti can easily be taken out by the lasers if you rush through them.
Keep in mind that since Venti's Hold skill is only on a 14-second cooldown and you have a 2 minute timer, you have plenty of opportunities to recover from mistakes or bad timing.
The second part of Windborne Bard features a room with three Pyro torches, three waves of 14 enemies to kill, and a 1 minute and 20 second timer.
Your goal is to eliminate all of the enemies within the time limit, making use of Venti's abilities, the Elemental nature of both the Pyro torches and the enemies, and the bombs that periodically get summoned on the field.
All of the enemies will be weak to a Pyro Swirl, so when casting Venti's Elemental Burst, make sure to position yourself to where you are in front of the torch and the enemies are behind the torch.
This forces a Pyro Swirl from Venti's Elemental Burst while grouping up all opponents to the center of the arena, which should be enough to take out an entire wave if you weave in Venti's Elemental Skill during the Burst uptime.
To add onto the burst damage and effectively wipe out a group, time your Elemental Burst casts with the bombs that spawn, so that both the enemies and the bombs are drawn to the center.
Afterwards, aim at the bomb with a Charged Shot to detonate it and guarantee elimination for the current wave.
