To find a way to enter the volcano, you need to ride a Spiritway to reach the Skyfire Circlet floating above the Ancient Sacred Mountain. This Spiritway can be found by Mposo, an NPC featured in A Brief History of Rocks.

Teleport to the Waypoint at the Remnants of Tetenanco.

Go to the Koholosaur spiritsconce in front of Mposo's tent and use it to transform.

Walk up to large pit near Mposo's tent and ride the Spiritway up to the Skyfire Circlet!

Leap From the Top of the Skyfire Circlet

Genshin - Leaping Into the Volcano

Although you'll automatically clear the quest objective once you've reached the Skyfire Circlet, you must still get into the actual volcano to complete the whole quest. Fly to the top of the islands as a Qucusaur, and you'll be able to leap into the volcano from there.

Once you've activated Teleport Waypoints inside the Ancient Sacred Mountain, you can use them to quickly enter the volcano instead of manually jumping from the top of the Skyfire Circlet!
