How to Unlock As Though Surrounded by Thunder
Complete the Prerequisites

As Though Surrounded by Thunder Walkthrough
Talk to Miko and the Others
Head to Mt. Yougou, at the event grounds, and talk to Yae Miko and the others about their plan to lure out the real person behind all the incidents happening lately.
Talk to Ei
Head over to the top of the event grounds and find Ei to finally execute Yae Miko's plan. After talking to her, a cutscene will immediately trigger and Ei will take you to a domain to confront the Nightmare Fragments.
Optional - Talk to Contestants From Various Teams
Talk to the contestants around the event grounds to learn what they think about Yae Miko's plan. You can talk to Kokomi and Mizuki, Sayu and Yoimiya, and Thoma and Itto at their respective game booths.
Defeat the Nightmare Fragments
While fighting the Nightmare Fragments, you can only use the Traveler as your character. Luckily, Ei will be fighting alongside you and assisting you by attacking the Nightmare Fragments as well.
However, you cannot control Ei's movements in this fight against the Nightmare Fragments. After defeating the Nightmare Fragments, a long cutscene will occur, thus concluding the event quest.
Parry the Nightmare Fragments' Attacks
You can parry the Nightmare Fragments' attacks by waiting for a bright blue light to shine and then pressing the parry button before its attack hits you.
Performing a perfect parry will also give you more verity for your burst attack.
Normal and Charged Attacks Gains Verity
If you fail to parry the Nightmare Fragments' attacks, you can use normal and charged attacks to gain verity for your burst. Although, you have to dodge its attacks if you fail to perform a parry.
Wait for Ei to Attack When It's a Defensive Stance
When the Nightmare Fragments' HP is around 20 to 25%, it will do a defensive stance and you have to wait for Ei to attack it before you can deal damage again.
