Running Hydro-centric teams against the Tyrant of Fire and Iron is your best bet here due to its hefty Pyro Shield and damage resistances.

The teams remain the same throughout both Hard and Fearless Difficulty due to the boss having more or less the same mechanics.

How to Beat Hard Difficulty

Brute Force With Hydro

Unlike Fearless mode, the Tyrant has significantly less HP and can be brute-forced with Hydro to damage it or to remove the shield and instantly kill it afterwards.

It is recommended to bring a Shielder for a smoother clear time with less interruptions.

How to Beat Fearless Difficulty

Focus Down The Shield

In Fearless Difficulty, breaking the Tyrant's shield becomes more of a priority than an option as it boasts higher resistances and HP, and deals more damage.

Bring two Hydro units and cycle between their elemental applications in order to shred down the Tyrant's Pyro Shield effectively.

Avoid Molten Throne Areas

Due to the presence of both the 2nd and 3rd Special Topics, make sure that you avoid the Molten Throne areas that the Tyrant spawns if possible, as they do large amounts of DoT damage to the active character.

Pick the Right Special Topics

If you are choosing Special Topics in order to gain the 2-star rating, then opt to pick the 2nd and 3rd ones that creates Molten Throne areas and increases the Tyrant's ATK.

We opt for the 2nd Special Topic over the other two due to the 1st one making its already-tough shield harder to break and the 4th one adding an entirely different mechanic to the Tyrant fight.

Food Items are Usable

It should be worth noting that you can use food buffs in this fight in order to revive units or increase your damage.

Use this as a trump card for when your pivotal units get hit by a stray attack and go down, or to up your damage so you can defeat the opponent quicker.

Co-Op is an Option

One of the main features of this event that this is available to do in Co-Op, allowing you to team up with friends in order to tackle the challenges.
