Red Metal Key Location

You can get the Red Metal Key while progressing through the Beneath the Crystal Rock quest in Tequemecan Valley, Natlan. The Red Metal Key will be on the stone stairs after you ride the Spiritway back to the Shadow Pin.

Specifically, you can locate the stone stairs while doing the objective, “Follow the Inscription Back to the Lesser Shadow Pin”. There will also be a Precious Chest at the bottom of the stairs.

Unlocks the Gate In Tequemecan Valley

The Red Metal Key can be used to unlock the metal gate in Tequemecan Valley. Beyond the metal gate, there will be two Common Chests and a Precious Chest.

Note that the Precious Chest inside has a chance of giving an Obsidian Ring Fragment.
