Pass Through the Garlands with Cimest

To complete the first trial in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs, you must command Princess Cimest to go through the garlands, and ask Faurobert to control the spouts!

How to Complete the Trial in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs Part 1

After picking up Princess Cimest and starting the challenge, hit the Furious Flower to your right to activate the current.

Then, activate the remaining Furious Flower located nearby Faurobert. This should activate a current that blows towards your direction.

Next, raise the waterspout by interacting with Faurobert's platform. This should cause the nearby lotus leaf to rise, effectively aligning a garland for Cimest to use later.

Afterwards, head to the rightmost set of garlands, and have Cimest pass through them. Doing so should send her upward, towards the other set of garlands.

Lastly, stand atop the lotus leaf behind you. While the Princess is latched onto your character, make her comeback when the lotus leaf is suspended midair. This should make her pass through the last set of garlands to complete the first trial!

Pass Through the Garlands Again

To complete the second trial in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs, you must again ask Princess Cimest to pass through the garlands, and have Faurobert control the water spouts. The second trial will commence right after hearing the Exhausted Manuscripts!

Once the Exhausted Manuscripts have done voicing out their woes, Part 2 of the Trial of the Cave of Eerie Murmurs will start. As with the first trial, pick up Cimest to start the challenge.

Then, hit the Furious Flower to your right to send out a current that will align a garland along the nearby set.

Next, go to Faurobert should be perching on top of the right drum, and have him drop the waterspout, to lower down the nearby Furious Flower. Do the same with the left drum, afterwards.

Once both Furious Flowers have been lowered, activate them by having Princess Cimest hit the flowers.

Then, head to the rightmost set of garlands, and have Princess Cimest pass through them. Next, is to stand on top of the moving lotus leaf to your left, and recall Cimest while it's midair to complete the trial!
