You can unlock The Answer of the Lotus Leaves and Forest by completing The Lotus Leaf and the Champion quest, as well as The Forest and the Princess quest. Then, skip to tomorrow using the in-game to clock to trigger this quest!
Following the events from the obtaining the Relic, talk to Princess Cimest back in the Kingdom of Breezes and Bells. Only this time, the froggies of Rainsong Pond, alongside Cimest's attendants, Saborn and Souffache will be there.
As discussed with the group, go to the Cave of Eerie Murmurs to know the secrets of the Relic, as well as help the frogs of Rainsong Pond get more clues about the Princess they're supposed to save.

Upon arriving at the entrance of the Cave of Eerie Murmurs, try to open the door with the help of the Flying Squirrels, and the Paper Frogs. As with the previous quests, you need to pass through the garlands with Cimest's help, and control the waterspouts thru Faurobert.

| 1 | To open the door of the Cave of Eerie Murmurs, walk over to Faurobert, and drop the waterspout. |
| 2 | Then, have Cimest pass through the Garlands while trying to hit the closed flower. You can activate the flower first if you didn't succeed the first time, but as long as the current is unleashed, go back and pass through the garlands once more! |
| 3 | Lastly, while Cimest is latched onto you, have her pass through the set of garlands to the right to open the door! |
After opening the door, continue onward through the Cave of Eerie Murmurs. Along the way you'll spot several carvings on the wall that collectively depict the story of previous princesses and princes who had failed figuring out the true meaning of their calling.
Described within the texts also, are the tales of one of the princesses of the Kingdom of Breezes and Bells, Ceoya, as well as the ancestor of Faurobert, the Winged Frog, Cibrelus!
After hearing Faurobert's and Cimest's tales about the texts, try to complete the trial in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs located inside a massive chamber within the cave.
To complete the trial in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs, you must have Cimest pass through all the garlands with the help of Faurobert! Keep in mind that there are two trials inside the cave, the second of which will start right after hearing the Exhausted Manuscripts.
| Cave of Eerie Murmurs Trial Part 1 | |

| 1 | After picking up Princess Cimest and starting the challenge, hit the Furious Flower to your right to activate the current. |
| 2 | Then, activate the remaining Furious Flower located nearby Faurobert. This should activate a current that blows towards your direction. |
| 3 | Next, raise the waterspout by interacting with Faurobert's platform. This should cause the nearby lotus leaf to rise, effectively aligning a garland for Cimest to use later. |
| 4 | Afterwards, head to the rightmost set of garlands, and have Cimest pass through them. Doing so should send her upward, towards the other set of garlands. |
| 5 | Lastly, stand atop the lotus leaf behind you. While the Princess is latched onto your character, make her comeback when the lotus leaf is suspended midair. This should make her pass through the last set of garlands to complete the first trial! |
| Cave of Eerie Murmurs Trial Part 2 | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Once the Exhausted Manuscripts have done voicing out their woes, Part 2 of the Trial of the Cave of Eerie Murmurs will start. As with the first trial, pick up Cimest to start the challenge. |
| 2 | Then, hit the Furious Flower to your right to send out a current that will align a garland along the nearby set. |
| 3 | Next, go to Faurobert should be perching on top of the right drum, and have him drop the waterspout, to lower down the nearby Furious Flower. Do the same with the left drum, afterwards. |
| 4 | Once both Furious Flowers have been lowered, activate them by having Princess Cimest hit the flowers. |
| 5 | Then, head to the rightmost set of garlands, and have Princess Cimest pass through them. Next, is to stand on top of the moving lotus leaf to your left, and recall Cimest while it's midair to complete the trial! |
Trial in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs Guide
After completing the two trials of the Cave of Eerie Murmurs, talk to the gang once more. A cutscene where the relic has finally lit up plays out, which will have everyone leave the Cave of Eerie Murmurs once and for all.
Nearby the Hut of Blessings where the cutscene has ended, talk to Faurobert about what just happened to end the quest!
