The Forest and the Princess is located at the Kingdom of Breezes and Bells in Simulanka, the event-exclusive map for Summertide Scales and Tales 4.8 Flagship Event! Walk towards the flying squirrels, Souffache, Saborn, and Princess Cimest to start the quest!
You can unlock The Forest and the Princess as soon as you enter Simulanka. There will be two quest markers readily available on your map; the southwest one for The Lotus Leaf and the Champion quest, while the one on the north is for The Forest and the Princess quest!
Go to the northeast of the Kingdom of Breezes and Bells and talk to Princess Cimest, who is currently sitting on top of a big rock underneath some trees. She will tell you about a trial involving going through wind currents.
After you accept Princess Cimest's trial, you will have to complete three Garland Trials. These trials involves you guiding the Princess to go through three garlands again and again.

| 1 | Approach Princess Cimest to start the trial, then guide the Princess to go through three garlands, and into the flower at the end. Make the Princess return from the flower and through three more garlands along the way. |
| 2 | Go to the next platform on the north to proceed to the next stage of the trial. |
| 3 | At the second stage, guide the Princess to go through three garlands to start the stage. |
| 4 | Afterwards, glide towards the north to make her return to your side, and make sure she passes three more garlands on her way back to you. |
| 5 | Head further north, hit the furious flower to make a wind current, then guide the Princess again to go through the next three garlands to start the final stage. Glide down to the lower platforms below before making her return to your side and . |
Talk to Princess Cimest after completing the Garland Trials and she will talk to you about undergoing another trial.
Catch up and undergo the trial with Princess Cimest on the north of the Kingdom of Breezes and Bells, where a giant monster footprint can be found. This will be the second set of Garland Trials.

In between the trial, you and Paimon decide to have a talk with Princess Cimest about the relic and where would it might be located.
After talking to Princess Cimest and Paimon, go undergo the trial with Princess Cimest once again. This will be the third and final set of Garland Trials.

Hit the furious flower first to let out a wind current and guide Princess Cimest to go through three garlands and into the current. |
| 3 | Guide the princess to return to your side while passing through three garlands. Upon returning her to your side, a bunch of enemies will spawn and attack you. |
| 4 | Upon defeating the enemies, watch as the Princess will complete the last stage herself and meeting up with you afterwards. |

After completing and undergoing through all the trials, touch the relic from the big footprint on the ground.
Upon touching the relic, you will talk to Princess Cimest about its true purpose and two flying squirrels, Souffache and Saborn, will come over to escort the Princess back to kingdom.
