Complete the Lantern Rite 2024 Quest Act 1

To unlock A Cloud-Sea Appeal, A Brilliance Revealed, you must first complete Act 1 of the Vibrant Harriers Aloft in Spring Breeze event quest, The Orioles Bask in Spring, the Heavens Present Auspices!

You may need to set the in-game clock to two days later to begin A Cloud-Sea Appeal, A Brilliance Revealed.

A Cloud-Sea Appeal, A Brilliance Revealed Quest Walkthrough

Go to Xinyue Kiosk and Have Dim Sum with Gaming

Head to Xinyue Kiosk in Liyue Harbor and go inside, where you will trigger a cutscene with Gaming! After having Dim Sum together, Gaming will end up going with you to the next location.

Go to Mt. Aocang

Teleport to Mt. Aocang and find Yaoyao, Ganyu, and Shenhe grouped together. Approaching close enough will start the next cutscene.

Check on How Construction is Going

After Xianyun gives instruction, everyone will scatter to make their kites! Approach all three groups to trigger their dialogue and cutscenes.

Make a Kite with Paimon

It's time to make a kite with Paimon! Approach the remaining kite making station and start the next cutscene. Paimon will ask you details about the kite such as its expression.

Figure Out Where Xianyun's Gone

After another cutscene, wind currents and rings will appear. Ride and follow the wind currents all the way to Qingyun Peak, where you will find two familiar adepti!

Return to Mt. Aocang

Teleport back to Mt. Aocang and rejoin Shenhe and Ganyu to enter another cutscene.

Go to Cloud Retainer's Abode Entrance

Head over to the entrance of Cloud Retainer's abode, which is the stone steps coming from in front of the nearby pond. This will trigger a final cutscene, after which the quest is complete!
