I kinda missed the "Claim rewards" part. So yes it's not the type of boss that was wrong but the fact I didn't claim the rewards. I don't plan on ascending anyone currently so I guess I won't do this challenge mission...
I guess it will be hard to find someone who hasn't connected for more than 2 weeks here. You mean all ascension bosses right ? I would be surprised if hypostases worked and not Tulpa Hydro... I assume the problem isn't that I chose Tulpa but the fact that I didn't use my resin on it...

"Enemy of note" is weekly bosses, no need to claim rewards, just defeat. "Claim rewards after defeating a boss" is hypostases eg. smaller bosses, have to claim rewards.
PS. I did one ley line from which I collected the reward in game, and I was able to collect the reward from the associated challenge mission of the web event almost immediately. Also I tried to do a weekly boss (I didn't collect the in game rewards cos I already did it this week) and this time it worked but it's counted for the "enemy of note" challenge. Quite weird...
I can't collect the rewards from the challenge missions "Defeat 1 Enemy of Note" and "Defeat a boss", does anyone know what we are supposed to do exactly ? I have only 2 challenge missions done. For the boss I defeated the Tulpa Hydro (but I had no resin so I didn't collect the rewards from it). For the "enemy of note", I killed a Fatui Operative. Both challenges are still marked as "Incomplete" after 5 minutes. Any idea why ?
