Monster Mash Deck Explanation

Strengths and Weaknesses

The Monster Mash deck combines the strength of all three Boss monster cards and triggers each other's bonus effects! Thunder Manifestation can effectively defeat a Character Card no matter its position, and Azhdaha can use the enemy's elements against them.

How to Play Monster Mash Deck

Set up for Crystallization and Superconduct

Start with Signora as your active character card, to apply Cryo and Sheer Cold to the enemy. You can also take this chance to activate more action cards and set up for your next turns.

Trigger Elemental Reaction of Your Choice

Depending on the opponent's cards, you can choose to trigger Azhdaha's Crystallize first or Thunder Manifestation's Superconduct first by swapping to them.

Crystallization gives Azhdaha a shield on top of triggering his skill, while Thunder Manifestation can deal more immediate damage.

Charge Up Thunder Manifestation's Burst

If you choose to trigger Overloaded more, Thunder Manifestation and Signora will be your main damage dealers.

Thunder Manifestation's Elemental Burst only requires two energy, which can be achieved between using its Skill and Starsigns! Their Burst also gives you a Summon, allowing you to switch to Signora and trigger Superconduct again.

Trigger Azhdaha's Passive Skill - Elemental Absorption

Azhdaha's Passive Skill, Stone Facets, lets him absorb Cryo, Hydro, Pyro, or Electro through two ways, both requiring him to use his Elemental Skill.

Crystallization Versus Tanking

If he triggers Crystallization, Azhdaha will activate his passive skill immediately. This is achieved easier when he attacks after either Signora or Thunder Manifestation has left their mark on the enemy's active character card.

If Azhdaha's attack does not trigger Crystallization, his passive skill will be activated the next time he is attacked by Cryo, Hydro, Pyro, or Electro. This is riskier, as Azhdaha could die from the damage, and harder to control when to trigger.

A big part of this deck's strategy relies on having the right amount of Dice, as well as triggering certain Elemental Reactions. Vanarana, Liben, and The Bestest Travel Companion! are ideal as they can help save unusable dice!

Yayoi Nanatsuki and Gilded Dreams also often go hand-in-hand, as Gilded Dreams can generate more dice and Yayoi Nanatsuki reduces dice cost for artifacts by 1!

Switch to HP Saving Cards if Necessary

If you find yourself unable to utilize these action cards, you can swap out the Quick-swap related cards such as Katheryne and Dawn Winery for cards that can help heal your party, such as Vourukasha's Glow or various Food Cards.
