Operable Mechanisms Types and How to Solve

Regulating Valve

Regulating Valves are usually found next to paths where energies run through. By rotating the Regulating Valves, you can redirect the flow of energy to where they are needed!

Feather Valve

Feather Valves are Operable Mechanisms that move the objects connected to them, such as gates. After turning a Feather Valve and letting it go, the valve will start to spin backwards and slowly undo its action. Try to accomplish your task before it's completely reverted!

Track Assemblage

To solve Track Assemblage puzzles, the movable stones must be placed onto the glowing pedestals along their tracks. Like other Operable Mechanisms, this can be done using a Xenochromatic Jellyfish's ability. Other mechanisms nearby can block and unblock the tracks where the stones move.

Eliphas Beam

The Eliphas Beam is an Operable mechanism comprised of Beam Generators and, in some cases, attached to Lifting Columns whose direction and height can be changed! Puzzles involving Eliphas Beams can be solved by making the beams hit receiver crystals until they glow.

Lifting Column

Lifting Columns are pillars that can be raised or lowered to solve a puzzle. These columns can have different purposes on each puzzle, such as blocking beam paths or holding Eliphas Beams where they should be adjusted to hit a receiver crystal.
