How to Beat Merciless Glacial Ray

Normal Attacks with a Side HP Fluctuation

For Day 5, some Modules prioritize Normal Attacks and Cryo Damage Bonuses, as well as fluctuating HP. It's best to have these assigned to teams that have this mechanic, such as parties led by Wriothesley, Ayato and Yoimiya

The stage begins with multiple elemental enemies, particularly Thunderhelm Lawachurls that require going against their elemental shields and go against them within a certain range.

Yoimiya can do well here as the shockwave buff can effectively cover for her limitation to a single-target playstyle. Paired with Zhongli or any other shielder can also ensure that she stays above 50% HP and utilize the buff effectively.

Round 2 brings various enemies that can both hit from a range or within melee range. It can be useful to bring in an Anemo unit like Kazuha to take advantage of this and group enemies effectively.

With this team led by Ayato, the team can capitalize on huge damage input caused by Vaporize reactions as well as effectively cover a wide area of effect both with Xiangling's and Ayato's respective Elemental Bursts.

To finish this stage, the challenge would be going up against various Mekas. Freezing these enemies can effectively clear this round. Yelan can assist applying Hydro for Freeze. While Mika can provide necessary healing.

Wriothesley can be able to take advantage of 2 modules centered around Normal Attacks and a Cryo Damage. With Shenhe in the team, the team's Cryo damage can also skyrocket can clear this round quickly.
