How to Beat Frenetic Explosive Shockwave

Normal and Charged Attacks With a Side of HP Fluctuation

Each stage in the Peaks and Troughs of Life comes with 4 Buff Modules with 2 levels, which makes 8 Modules in total. Each party can have 2 modules, so it's important to get to know your characters and assign modules according to their playstyles.

For Day 1, some Modules prioritize Normal and Charged Attacks, as well as fluctuating HP. It's best to have these assigned to teams that have this mechanic, such as parties led by Neuvillette, Wriothesley, or Lyney.

Make Use of the Pressurized Impactor

One of the key tools in the Peaks and Troughs of Life is the Pressurized Impactor that you can charge up to release a shockwave that deals massive DMG to surrounding enemies.

Be sure to use this to your advantage, as enemies will come at you wave after wave!

Best Teams and Modules for Frenetic Explosive Shockwave

Round 1

(LVL 2) All party members gain a 60% Pyro DMG Bonus. (LVL 1) All party members' Charged Attack and Plunging Attack DMG increased by 30%.

Round 1 pits you against units that specialize in Cryo amongst mobs of Treasure Hoarders. A good Pyro DPS can make all the difference. Should you find yourself lacking one, Hu Tao is available as a trial character.

To speed things up a little, you can opt to induce Vaporize for increased DMG. If you find the Fatui Operatives a little too long to deal with, use your Pressurized Impactor to get rid of them as fast as possible!

(LVL 2) When character HP is less than 50%, CRIT Rate is increased by 20% and CRIT DMG is increased by 40%. (LVL 2) All party members' Charged Attack and Plunging Attack DMG increased by 60%.

Taking the number of elemental enemies into account, Anemo units like Kazuha can take advantage of this and turn the opponents' elements against each other.

Lyney can shine brightly in this team due to several Buff Modules synergizing well with his playstyle of increasing and decreasing his HP through via his talents.

(LVL 1) When character HP is less than 50%, CRIT Rate is increased by 10% and CRIT DMG is increased by 20%. When a character's Normal Attack hits an opponent, the character will unleash a shockwave at the opponent's location that deals True DMG. This effect can be triggered once every 5s

Round 3 will be littered with Ruin Machines, which are extremely dangerous if you leave them active for too long. Freezing them in place can be your go-to option.

Wriothesley will be able to take advantage of 2 modules centered around Normal Attacks and a fluctuating HP. Having spearhead a Freeze team with Yelan for Hydro application can work wonders for this challenge.
