What are Recovery Orbs?

Restores Aquatic Stamina and HP

Instead of regular stamina, swimming fast while underwater depletes the Aquatic Stamina Bar, shown on the right side of your character while underwater.

This regenerates over time, but you can also collect Recovery Orbs—small schools of yellow fishes found in the underwater areas of Fontaine—to replenish Aquatic Stamina and even HP to help with underwater exploration!

Fontaine Release Date and Map Guide

Find Recovery Orbs if You Need Healing

Character abilities are disabled and replaced with new actions while you're underwater. This means your healer characters won't be able to use their recovery skills to help your team!

Other than consuming Food, the only way to heal underwater is to swim around and find Recovery Orbs!

Having Lynette Marks Nearby Recovery Orbs!

Adding Lynette to your active party marks nearby Recovery Orbs in your minimap! Additionally, Lynette's passive ability also increases Aquatic Stamina and HP recovered from Recovery Orbs by 25%!
