Water Ball Challenges can be found all over the Veluriyam Mirage. There are a total of 58 Treasure Chests if you complete all the challenges.

How to Use the Water Ball Interactive Map

Icon	Function
	Zooms in or out. You can also do this by pinching your screen (mobile) or scrolling up or down with your mouse wheel (PC).
	Displays the name of each entries.
	Toggles items that have already been marked as acquired.
	Enters full screen mode.
	Enters search mode. Typing out an entry on the top right box filters a specific item.
	Toggles the display of the entries on the map.

Silver Bottle Courtyard Water Ball Challenge Locations

#	Silver Bottle Courtyard Bubble Puzzles
1	Just a few steps north of the bubble is a Hydro Eidolon surrounded by Fungi. Rescue the Hydro Eidolon and follow it to the treasure chest.
2	Use the Dendrogana on the boulder to reveal the Hydro Eidolon then follow it to the treasure chest.
3	Interact with the barrel sitting on the lily pad, then activate the Hydro Monuments in sequence as shown by the Hydro Eidolon.
4	Interact with the bulletin board to initiate hide-and-seek. The Hydro Eidolons disguise themselves as a crystal on the rooftop, flower on a door, and a tilted barrel.
5	Interact with the Hydro Eidolon to get the sequence of activating the Hydro Monuments.
6	Avoid the green mines and interact with the blue one to reveal the Hydro Eidolon then follow it to the treasure chest.
7	Wake up the sleeping Hydro Eidolon nearby.
8	Use the Dendrogana on the boulder to reveal the Hydro Eidolon and follow it to remove the bubbles from the Hydro Monuments. Activate the Hydro Monuments in any order.
9	Simply interact with the barrel and bush to reveal the treasure chest.
10	Interact with the bulletin board to initiate hide-and-seek. The Hydro Eidolons disguise themselves as a vase, box on a canopy, and a small crate.
11	Place an apple on the table on three different instances. Teleport out of the area and return to refresh the instance.
12	From the bubble, follow the river upstream and break the barrel under the waterfall. Follow the Hydro Eidolon back to the treasure chest.
13	Pick up the flowers surrounding the bubble to spawn Whopperflowers. Defeat them and interact with the Hydro Eidolon to remove the bubble.

Overgrown Valley Water Ball Challenge Locations

#	Overgrown Valley Bubble Puzzles
14	Near the bubble is a Hydro Eidolon surrounded by slimes. Rescue the Hydro Eidolon and follow it to the treasure chest.
15	In front of a Hilichurl is a spot on the water that constantly pops bubbles. Follow the trail of bubbles to reveal the Hydro Eidolon that will lead you to the treasure chest.
16	Simply interact with the box out in the open to reveal the Hydro Eidolon and then follow it to the treasure chest.
17	To the southwest of the bubble on top of a leaf is a Hydro Eidolon. Interact and follow it from leaf to leaf to unlock the treasure chest.
18	Interact with the Bulletin Board to initiate a hide-and-seek. The Hydro Eidolons are disguised as a box, a muddy rock on a lily pad, and a box on top of a plant.
19	Simply interact with the Hydro Eidolon near some rocks then follow it to the treasure chest.

Overgrown Valley East Cavern Water Ball Challenge Locations

#	Mysterious Cave Water Bubble Puzzles
20	Located along the Choo-Choo Cart track that leads to the top left projector.
21	Approach the Hydro Eidolon near the entrance then follow it to the treasure chest.
22	Approach the Hydro Eidolon near the entrance then follow it to the treasure chest.
23	Simply defeat the enemies after following the Hydro Eidolon you rescued from the three lit braziers.
24	Climb the ledge with the braziers and follow them to a room with a Hydro Eidolon surrounded by three lit braziers. Extinguish the fire and follow the Hydro Eidolon to the treasure chest.
25	Follow the Choo-Choo Cart tracks going underground to the East to find a Hydro Eidolon surrounded by Hilichurls. Rescue the Hydro Eidolon and follow it to a treasure chest.

Pavilion of Hermits Water Ball Challenge Locations

#	Pavilion of Hermits Water Bubble Puzzles
26	The Hydro Eidolon morphed into a candy cane is located nearby a tent located on the slope just past the Hydro Monument puzzle. You'll know it's the correct tent if there's a Rishboland Tiger sleeping in front of it!
27	The Hydro Eidolon is located a bit north of Water Bubble #26, inside a tent. Complete the hide-and-seek challenge to get an Exquisite Chest! The Candy Cane Eidolon is located just across the Tent, the Toy Soldier Eidolon is few paces to the left of the tent, while the Crate Eidolon is located directly on the small waterfall on the right!
28	This Hydro Eidolon is inside a wooden prison guarded by Stonehide Lawachurl. You can easily access this location from Lafeinte's tent in Pavilion of Hermit, and doing a sharp right to the first opening you see. Few paces from the tunnel's end is a Time Trial Challenge. Go on top of the hill behind it, and locate the ladder to your right. Defeat the Lawachurl to free the poor droplet!
29	Play with the Hydro Eidolons to get an Exquisite Chest! Across the entire game, remember to always pick center to win!
30	The Hydro Eidolon is located on the elevated platform attached to the giant tree. Use the nearby Four-Leaf Sigils to easily access the Droplet's location!
31	This Hydro Eidolon is located on the ledge to your right, paces away before the Big Tent's location in Pavilion of Hermits. After interacting with it, it will disappear and reappear below. Follow it to obtain a Common Chest!
32	These Eidolons are located steps away from the Big Tent. Alternatively, you can go to the point in the map where the three roads converge and look for the group of Eidolons nearby. Watch and applaud the Eidolons to get a Common Chest!
33	From the Waypoint in the Pavilion of Hermits, go towards the Fairgrounds and make a sharp turn to the left twice, immediately after the archway. You should see 5 Eidolons by the tent with a locked Luxurious Chest inside. To solve the puzzle, pick the Eidolons on the following order: • First Eidolon (crate with eyes) • Fourth Eidolon (komodo dragon) • Fifth Eidolon (winking crate) • Third Eidolon (toy soldier) • Second Eidolon (candy cane)
34	Use the Waypoint in Pavilion of Hermits and jump down the ledge. Interact with the suspicious barrel, and watch as the Eidolon leads you to its fellow Eidolons! Once the barrel Eidolon snitched its two Eidolon friends, you'll get a Common Chest!
35	Go towards the western part of the Fairground, and keep pressing forward until you see Time-Trial Challenge. and a Gleaming Lamp nearby that's shining down the ground. A bit to its left is a ladder connected to a ledge, where the three Hydro Eidolons are disguised as a stack of crates!
36	From the no. 35 Eidolon's location, jump down and walk few paces to the left (towards the direction of the Hilichurl enemies), until you see an upset Hydro Eidolon a bit to your right. Follow the Water Droplet deep into the tunnel, and dig on the ground once it stops!
37	From the no. 36 Eidolon's location, head deep into the cavern, towards the tent, located a bit northeast. The tent has a nearby Voucher Box floating around, so you can also follow the marker in your map if you haven't collected it yet! Fortunately, the Eidolons can be easily spotted. The two Eidolons are disguised as a barrel and a crate on both sides of the tent, while the other one is on the top of the tent. Use the nearby mushroom to easily reach it!

Thinkers' Theater Water Ball Challenge Locations

#	Thinkers' Theater Water Bubble Puzzles
38	Interact with the Hydro Eidolon and destroy the breakable wall to free one eidolon. Continue following the original eidolon defeat the enemies surrounding the second eidolon. Follow the the original eidolon again toward a dendrogranum and use it to open a clusterleaves. Head up the waterfalls to get the eidolon hiding as a barrel. Go back to the original eidolon and follow it toward the precious chest!
39	Save the Hydro Eidolon from the Pyro Slimes then follow it toward a Dendrogranum. Bring a bow character then use summon a dendrograna to shoot at three targets to get a common chest!
40	• Interact with the eidolon disguised as a box in a tree to unlock one Hydro Monument then use hydro on it. • Head to a tree and interact with the eidolon disguised as a Magical Crystal Chunk then unlock the monument. • Interact with the eidolon disguised as a candy cane. It will morph into an arrow sign pointing toward the right eidolon diguised as a box in a tree • Unlock the eidolon then follow it to the monument the use hydro on it to get a chest!
41	Defeat the Hilichurls surrounding a Hydro Eidolon disguished as a box then let it reunite with its friend. Follow them and they will lead you toward a chest!
42	Defeat the shroomkin enemies surrounding a Dendro Pile then interact with the hidden hydro eidolon disguished as a lamp! Follow the eidolon to unlock a chest.
43	Get close to a Hydro Eidolon with a question mark on top of a small hill. Follow toward the stairs then wait for it to tranform into a wooden arrow pointing toward the direction under the stairs. Head inside and get the chest!
44	Interact with the Hydro Eidolon disguised as a rock pile above a box. Follow the eidolon toward a sealed chest and wait for it unlock it to get the rewards!
45	The Hydro Eidolon is nearby, and is hidden and disguised as the only Cryo mine in the middle of 4 Dendro ones. Interact with it and follow it to the chest.
46	Another game of Hide and Seek. One Eidolon is disguised as a crate by the waterfall, another is a barrel on a cliff to the east of the waterfall, and the last one is a crate surrounded by Hilichurls. Defeat the Hilichurls and rescue it to get the chest.
47	Go to the designated spot and take a picture of the two Hydro Eidolons together at the prow of the boat. Simply wait for them to come together and take your shot.
48	Another game of Hide and Seek. One Eidolon is a purple crate hidden behind some other crates. Another is a boulder on top of a crate. The last one is a barrel on the balcony above.
49	Found inside the Director's treehouse. You will encounter a Hydro Eidolon, but before following it up, observe the pot on the shelf to the left on the way up for another Eidolon. Then, follow the first Eidolon to a chest on the upper floors.
50	The Hydro Eidolon is disguised as a crate and is surrounded by Fungi. Defeat the Fungi to rescue the Hydro Eidolon, and it will unlock the chest for you.
51	Shoot the Anemo Slime for the first one. The second one is disguised as a Sweet Flower in a flower pot. The last one is a rock pile in the middle of three braziers. Knock the rock pile off and extinguish the braziers afterwards.
52	Interact with the Scene Notes bulletin board just below the Theater Waypoint by some branches and spotlights. Defeat the two Hilichurls that will spawn to get "The Great Escape" Prop Book. Place the Prop Book on top of the crate and use your camera to take a picture at the designated spot. Make sure the Hydro Eidolon and the Prop Book are centered, then claim your rewards from the Exquisite Chest.
53	Start from the Theater Waypoint, then look up north and shoot down the floating balloons. Next, shoot the balloon at the base of the tree to the northeast. Glide down from the cliff and shoot the balloon next to the two hydro squirrels. The last balloon is under the tree towards the east.
54	The treasure chest reward is part of the Petrifying Gaze Quest. Solve all five Owl Wraith puzzles and the treasure chest will spawn just before you board the Choo-Choo Cart to proceed with the quest.
55	Start from the Theater Waypoint, head south past the water fountain and then go east towards the chest trapped in a bubble. Interact with the Hydro Eidolon next to chest and it will start some sort of telephone game going anticlockwise where the third Hydro Eidolon will mess up. After the Hydro Eidolons finish one round, talk to the third Hydro Eidolon to correct its disguise, then go back to the first Hydro Eidolon to start another round, then open the treasure chest.
56	Interact with the Scene Notes bulletin board below the central theater near some spotlights and suitcases. Head northeast and defeat the two Hilichurls to free the Hydro Eidolon inside the cage and escort it back to the scene. Use a Dendro skill or attack on the boulder beside the Hydro Eidolon to free the second one and take a picture of them from the designated spot.
57	Just outside the central theater, use the Four-Leaf Sigil to climb up the platform with the red drapes. Interact with the strange box and follow it towards the two Hydro Eidolons. All three Hydro Eidolons will transform into crates and shift positions and you will need to follow the first Hydro Eidolon. If you missed it, choose the third box to the right and claim your treasure chest.
58	Head inside the central theater and interact with the pot behind Zosimos. Follow it then jump on the mushroom to reach the treasure chest.

Hydro Eidolons enclose treasure chests inside a bubble. To open them, you will need to solve some puzzles that involve finding Hydro Eidolons.

Treasure Chest Guide

Find and Follow the Hydro Eidolon

The first type of Water Ball Challenge is to simply find then follow the responsible Hydro Eidolon to the treasure chest.

Some Hydro Eidolons are out in the open, while others disguise themselves as random objects. Disguised Hydro Eidolons are easy to spot because they appear out of place against its surroundings.

Hide-and-Seek with Hydro Eidolons

Other Hydro Eidolons congregate and want to play hide-and-seek first before handing over their treasure chest. These types of challenges can be found if there is a nearby Bulletin Board, and you will need to find three of them to clear it.

Activate Elemental Monuments in Order

Hydro Elememental Monument puzzles can be solved by using the hints given by Hydro Eidolons. After interacting with the Hydro Eidolons, they will transform into a huge big wooden arrow pointing to the monuments in order. You will need to remember the sequence to claim your treasure chest.

Defeat Nearby Enemies

There are some Hydro Eidolons need to be rescued from some enemies. Defeat them and allow the Hydro Eidolon to lead the way to its treasure chest.
