A bow character is a must against the Aeonblight Drake, making Ganyu a great DPS choice. Bennett and Kazuha can maximize Ganyu's overall damage with Melt Reactions and their buffs once the Aeonblight Drake is brought down!

You can also use a Mono-Geo team to take advantage of the Difficulty Settings and set the Electro, Hydro, and Cryo RES to maximum for the points.

Gorou will take the role of bringing down the Aeonblight Drake and hitting its weakness. Pile on Zhongli, Gorou, and Albedo's Elemental Burst and Skills, activate Itto's Burst, and then hit the boss with Itto's Skill for maximum Geo DMG!

To get 6000 points, you would have to choose the Expert Score Multiplier x5 using these parameters. Depending on which element you chose for your DPS, you can remove one type of Elemental RES.

*If you happen to use a Cryo Character as your DPS, avoid adding any parameters that would increase Cryo RES while maximizing the other two. The same goes for other parameters if you choose use other elements for your DPS.

Hit the Boss Cores When It’s in Aerial Mode

Shield Indicator

During the combat, Aeonblight has the ability to enter an Aerial State and begin shooting you from above. While in this state, Aeonblight will also receive a shield, as represented by the white bar below its health.

Core Locations

Shoot the Aeonblight cores positioned on its chest and shoulders to bring down the shield and destroy it. To destroy the shield in expert mode, you must strike the cores at least four times.

The Aeonblight will be immobilized when you destroy the shield, allowing you to attack it freely.

Keep Your Distance

While in ground the Aeonblight can deal devastating AoE attacks, so make sure to keep a safe distance when fighting it. Using a Bow or Catalyst user is recommended in this fight as they will allow you to hit the Aeonblight in distance.

Interrupt its Charging Attacks

You can also stop Aeonblight attacks while it is on the ground. Just make sure to keep an eye on the core on its head when attacking. The core will begin to glow, signaling that you can begin to shoot it and disrupt its attack.
