It's also best to have a healer in the team, or at least plenty of healing Action Cards, because the Abyss Lector can deal plenty of damage when it attacks.

Break their shield to deal Piercing Damage

The Abyss Lector's Character Card only has 6 HP at the start of the duel. After defeating a card once they will be revived with 2-3 HP, and gain a shield that negates damage two times.

Use a combination of Fast Action and quick-swap cards along with Kaeya's Elemental Burst to destroy these shields, which automatically deals 6 Piercing Damage to the Abyss Lector at the end of the round!
