How to Play Kory Drum Puzzles

Read the Leaf Notes

Full	Half	Empty
Plunging Attack	Normal Attack	Pause/Stand Still

To play the Kory Drums, follow the sequence of notes as seen in the wall and hit the drum based on the form of the leaves, to begin your performance. As seen above, if the leaf note is whole with no holes, that means that note is a Plunging Attack.

These compositions are read from left to right, then top to bottom. You will also gain a jumping buff to help you plunge without the need of a ledge!

As seen in the diagram above, you will need to hit the drum according to the shape of the leaf. In this case, it is a Half, then Full, then Empty, then Full once more, signaling the order of attacks as seen in the box above!

Normal Attack → Plunging Atack → Pause

If you're stuck on failing the puzzle even if you're doing the correct sequence, remember that you also have to time it right! After doing the first attack, wait for the drum to glow before doing the next action.

As seen above, the actions are done only when the drum glows. The interval is about 2 seconds before you can do the action again.

The Kory Drum is mainly featured in the Awakening's Real Sound World Quest which is a part of the Khvarena of Good and Evil Quest Chain! After finding all five Kory Drums, you must perform according to drum's score to progress through the quest!

Overworld Kory Drums

These Kory Drums are located in the overworld, and you won't need to advance the main quest in the area to access these. Note that two of them are inside the cavern accessible from the land bridge from Realm of Farakhfert.

How to Get Achievement

Solve the Asipattravana Swamp Kory Drums

Map Location	In-Game

The three Kory Drums to the east of the Asipattravana Swamp will spawn a time-attack challenge after successfully performing the composition. You will need to activate and clear all three challenges.

Jump on the Floating Mushrooms

Activating a time-attack challenge will spawn a set of floating mushrooms that represent the Kory Drum composition you just performed.

To complete the challenge, you need to jump on the mushrooms that represent a Half note and skip those that represent an Empty note. In other words, only jump on the mushrooms where you did an attack on that note.

3	Jump on 1, 3, 5, 7.

Seven Dish Dance Achievement Rewards

Upon completing all 3 time-attack challenges, you will get the Seven Dish Dance achievement and a Luxurious Chest will spawn on top of the rock formation in the middle of the area.
