To begin the quest, climb to the summit of Mt. Hulao. When you arrive at the location, you will see a Treasure Hoarder praying named Li Ding. Approach him and a cutscene will play.

Shatter the Amber on the Mountain Road

Genshin - Moulder of Mountains Walkthrough - Shatter the Amber on the Mountain Road
While speaking with Li Ding, he will inform you that his brother is trapped in one of the ambers and will request your assistance in finding him. Come down the mountain and break the amber near the structure.

Talk to Li Ding and Li Dang

Return to Li Ding after rescuing his brother. When you return, the brothers will thank you and both of them will leave.

Meet Mountain Shaper

After the brothers have left, the Mountain Shaper will appear near the sealed cave. Approach him and speak with him to complete the quest.
