How to Unlock the Wangshu

Complete the An Impromptu Change of Plan

To unlock the Wangshu quest, you will need to reach Adventure Rank 23 or above and complete the second part of Chapter 1: Act 1: An Impromptu Change of Plan!

Wangshu Walkthrough

Go to Wangshu Inn

Go to the top floor of the Wangshu Inn and speak with Xiao.

Ask the Boss Lady About Xiao

Return to Verr Goldet and ask some questions about Xiao. Verr Goldet will tell you to prepare a dish that you are skilled at and look for the Chef to obtain Almond Tofu.

You will be given two options for the dish, but whichever one you choose will result in Satisfying Salad. Prepare a Satisfying Salad in the kitchen.

Talk to the Chef

After preparing the Satisfying Salad, seek out the chef, who is located outside near the stairs.

Go to the Kitchen

Check the kitchen for the ghost that Smiley Yanxiao is referring to, then return to tell him what happened.

Observe the Painting

Return to Verr Goldet and ask questions about the ghost. She will instruct you to look at the calligraphy painting upstairs.

Find a Place Where You Can See the Whole Witness Sigil

Find the sigil that is similar to the one on the painting in front of the Wangshu Inn. Stand on the marking on the floor and adjust the camera angle to align the images in the stone to solve the sigil puzzle.

After completing the puzzle, the ghost will appear. Follow the ghost into the forest, where you'll find a broken Ruin Hunter.

Defeat the Ruin Hunter

The Ruin Hunter will be possessed by the ghost, and you must defeat it. Talk to Dusky Ming the ghost after defeating the Ruin Hunter.

Tell Smiley Yanxiao About What Happened

After speaking with Dusky Ming, return to Wangsu Inn and inform Smiley Yanxiao of what happend. After hearing the good news, he will prepare the Almond Tofu for Xiao.

Talk to Xiao

Head back up and speak with Xiao to complete the quest.
