To unlock Chasing Shadows, you must have first completed, Archon Quest Prologue: Act 1, The Outlander Who Caught the Wind and the previous part of the quest chain, Behind the Scenes!

Enter the Fatui Hideout

Go to the Fatui Hideout near the Teleport Waypoint in Springvale.

Interrogate the Guard

Once inside, you'll come across a Fatui Guard who begged you not to hurt him. He's also mentioned that the key to the storage room of the Lyre is in one of the guards deep within the ruins.

Scour the Fatui Hideout to Find the Key

After going in deep within the ruins, you'll notice two staircases on your left and right, as well as four rooms in which one guard occupies each.

How to Scour the Fatui Hideout

	How to Find the Key
1	Head over to the room on your right. There you'll see the greedy guard. You can select "How does 500,000 Mora sound?" to avoid fighting, but you can also select the other prompts and fight a Fatui Electro Cicin Mage.
2	The other two rooms will contain nothing but a Common Chest in each. The room located beside the Greedy Guard's room is guarded by Electro Cicins, while the room across it is guarded by Pyro Slimes.
3	The room on the next level, just above the staircase has the key. Talk to the Timid Guard until he gives you the Hidden Key.

Open the Door Using the Key

After getting the key, go to the middle of the room, towards the switch and open door using the key.

Enter the Area Where the Lyre is Stored

Once the door is opened, enter the area where the Holy Lyre is stored. Ride the elevator to reach the upper level.

Defeat the Agent

Inside, you'll see a Fatui Agent, Zamenhoff guarding the lyre. Defeat the agent and grab the Holy Lyre der Himmel afterwards.

Talk to Paimon

Talk to Paimon about the Lyre and about Zamenhoff's whereabouts. Eventually, Zamenhoff will threaten you and Mondstadt.
