How to Unlock Wild Escape

Complete Archon Quest Prologue Act 1

To unlock Wild Escape, you must have first completed, Archon Quest Prologue: Act 1, The Outlander Who Caught the Wind and the previous part of the quest chain, Venti's New Plan!

Wild Escape Walkthrough

Escape the Cathedral

Because of alerting the guards while you're trying to steal the Holy Lyre for yourself, escape the Cathedral with Venti. He'll be just outside the waiting for you.

Use the wind currents

Jump over the ledge and use the wind currents to escape the Cathedral. Open your glider as soon as you jump, to ride the wind currents.

Hide in the tavern

You'll eventually arrive at the Angel Share Tavern, in which you'll see Diluc and Charles talking by the counter.

Hide on the second floor of the tavern

Afterwards, hide on the second floor of the Tavern and wait for the Knights of Favonius to get out of the Tavern. They were there asking for the whereabouts of two thieves who tried to steal the Holy Lyre.

Answer Diluc's questions

Diluc will then ask about your relationship with Venti, as well as why you've attempted to steal the Holy Lyre. Afterwards, Diluc will tell you to meet up again in the Tavern at night, once it closes.
