To unlock the Unexpected Battle Quest, you need to complete the prerequisite requirements of the event. You need to reach Adventure Rank 30 or above and complete the Ritou Escape Plan part of the Chapter 2 Act 1 Archon Quest!
You also need to complete Raiden's Story Quest Act 2, but you can skip that with the Quick Start Button!
| Quest Walkthrough | |

| 1 |  Head to Byakko Plain and witness two samurai of the Kono Ittou Art attempt to duel each other. |
| 2 |  Defeat the two Yoriki Samurai and earn their Warrior's Spirit entry ticket. |
| 3 |  Head to the Yashiro Commission and talk to Madarame Hyakubei about the event. |
| 4 |  Go to Ritou to find Ayaka. Then, talk to Chisato and Ayaka about the event and how it works! |
| 5 |  Head to the challenge arena with Chisato and Ayaka. It's located in the Outlander Affairs Agency. |
| 6 |  Adjust the time to two days later, then head back to the arena. |
| 7 |  Talk to Chisato, Ayaka, and Onodera once again. Finish the conversation to complete the quest! |
