How to Unlock Genshin Beetle Event

To unlock the Arataki Beetle Brawl Event, you need to reach Adventure Rank 30 or above and complete the Ritou Escape Plan part of the Chapter 2 Act 1 Archon Quest.

You also need to complete the Interlude Chapter Act 2 - Perilous Trail Archon Quest, but you can skip that with the Quick Start Button!

1. Join Itto in the Beetle Fight Event!
2. Talk to the Onikabuto Owners
3. Select a difficulty!
4. Commence the battle!

Meet Arataki Itto in a Beetle Fight

We will rejoin Arataki Itto to organize and fight in the Beetle Fighting Event to beat Grandmaster Hanakado and his "subordinates"! To start defeating other beetle masters, you must complete the unlock quest first!

Unlock Quest Guide

Talk to the Respective Owners

There are a total of five challengers within the arena, including Grandmaster Hanakado himself. Each stage will have a corresponding number, and that number will also be above the head of the owner of the Onikabuto. Talk to them to start the stage!

Choose a Difficulty

After talking to the opponent, you can choose a difficulty. There are three difficulties you can choose from Friendly Spar, Honed Will, and Fanatic Passion.

Friendly Spar and Honed Will are fairly similar, the difference is that the enemy has more HP in Honed Will. Fanatic Passion is a much more difficult stage where the enemy has more HP and has faster reaction time to counter you!

Note that Fanatic Passion can only be unlocked after completing Honed Will.

Commence an Onikabuto Fight!

During this event, you can command a beetle, an Onikabuto to defeat another Onikabuto in a challenge! You use various commands during the event, such as:
