How to Beat Xingqiu in a Friendly Fracas

Use Xingqiu's Hydro against him

When Xingqiu uses his Elemental Skill, he becomes affected by Hydro. You can use a Cryo attack to freeze him and keep him from attacking!

Get Rid of Xiangling's Summons

Xiangling summons Guoba onto the table with her Elemental Skill, and can deal damage in between rounds. Be sure to have cards like Send Off on hand to deal with Guoba before he can cause trouble!

How to Beat Xingqiu in a Serious Showdown

Take Xiangling Out First

Xingqiu's deck relies on Vaporize and Melt, while proving buffs to each other thru Xingqiu's burst, Chongyun's buffs, and Xiangling's Guoba and Burst. You can remove all the Pyro-related reactions by taking out the only Pyro unit, Xiangling.

This leaves you with a Frozen deck, which go around by either taking out either Chongyun or Xingqiu next, or you can use a Summon's deck, so you can still output damage even if your active character is Frozen.
