Hutao does not need yelan, XQ is more than enough, nor does Alhaitham need nahida, he's deals high dendro damage on his own, he can just use yaoyao on deepwood and it works very well.
also I’d like to add that my current comp is raiden, collei and zhongli, my raiden isn’t ‘em built at all nor is collei and he is still doing high dmg despite not being fully ascended. I’m not saying he’s better than Hu Tao or other ss characters but he really isn’t as expensive and restrained as you think.

id disagree like I said, he is very strong and flexible so he can be used in any hydro related team, this site even proves it. Hyperbloom/taser might just be his best but not only comp. He can work with fiscal and collei if you don’t have raiden or nahida and still do massive dmg simply because he has high multipliers on his own.If you ask me ayaka is even more expensive because her best comp is literally all 5 stars and Hu Tao needs yelan while alhaitham needs nahida so it’s not just him
that’s not my point, they said that neuvillte is pass for them which is fine, not everyone has to pull for him but they implied that’s it’s because he loses hp so he’s bad, Hu Tao does as well and no one can deny that yet neuvillte can heal more than her so I don’t get how that makes him bad Also neuvillte can be used in vape,Hu Tao is just better for it, he can be used for any hydro team really and has high multipliers, also you can use him with collei or fiscal, he isn’t that expensive
keep in mind his hyperbloom team needs em raiden specifically because he is ranged ca attacker. kuki works with melee units cuz of her naku weed ring follows you around and you want to stay closer to enemies to trigger dendro seeds near enemies. this make his hyperbloom team more expensive than usual. taser seems like it has less problems while still having good dps especially with fischl-kazuha-furina/kokomi/zhongli.
i think its because they cant vape with neuvi so he is bad for them. neuvi is looking good for taser/hyperbloom. and these reactions are transformative reactions, they dont hit like a truck like like vape/melt.. he mostly has high raw dmg enabling hydro reactions while hu tao is a popular big pp dmg vape dps.

lowkey hydro Ganyu... this is why i hate CA users they all want me to use Zhongli because of their squishiness and are so easily interrupted

There is already a glitch that let you do multi laser AOE.. lol
like ive been consistently beat the abyss with these teams
you dont even need ayaka, hu tao, alhaitham or c2 raiden to beat abyss pls. you can abuse the heck of good 4 stars to make good f2p teams. kuki is good for f2p hyperbloom. and classic national. pull for whoever you like and i'll get neuvillette because i like him ez.
you dont even need anyone in ss dps bfr. you only need bennett+xl and kuki and there you set to have 2 good f2p teams.
Why not worth? If you already got 2 ss tier dps as you mentioned it in 5 then you don't care you can pull for fun anything you want ;)
