Trial of the Scorching Sands Guide

Help Cyno Pack His Backpack

During the event, your goal is to help Cyno pack his backpack before heading out in the desert! You can click on certain glowing items on the screen to put them in your backpack.

Get the Required Items

A packing list will be available on the screen of the web event, you need three full waterskins, and two full packs of provisions. If you click on an item, it will automatically insert one item inside Cyno's backpack.

If you click on the item again, a copy of the item will be inserted again and will be added on a separate space! This means you need to click on the waterskin three times and the packs of provisions two times!

Choose Items Around the Area

There are a total of four items in the waiting area where Cyno situated. You need to click on the items to add them to Cyno's backpack, and if you click that same item another time, it will be added to the backpack as well.

That said, you can choose to bring other items like the Genius Invokation TCG Cards, and the Candied Alijenakh Nuts. The ideal backpack content would include all the needed items, and those two items!

Add More Backpack Space

When you start the event, you have a limited number of spaces, but you can expand if by doing missions. Click on the backpack to open it, then click on the plus sign to get the missions. Completing all missions will grant you three more backpack spaces!

Head Towards the Desert

Once you're done packing, click on the Head towards the desert button, it will directly open Cyno's Character Demo Trailer. After watching it, click anywhere other than the video, and you'll get another cutscene with Cyno!

Get the Rewards After Watching

Once the ending cutscene is done, you'll get the rewards, which will then be sent to you via in-game mail. You can also get a Cyno Wallpaper after clicking on the View Wallpaper Button!

A Full Waterskin	A necessity for traveling in the desert.
A Full Pack of Provisions	You can't travel long distances on an empty stomach.
Delicious Candied Ajilenakh Nuts	A specialty of the desert. Should you bring some for Tighnari and Collei too?
Genius Invokation TCG	How about a game of Genius Invokation TCG, my friend?
