Purple Obsidian Fragments can only be obtained from chests or Warrior Challenges that are originally found within the vicinity of the Masters of the Night-Wind's territory.

Found in Precious or Luxurious Chests

Fragments of the Purple Obsidian Ring can be found by opening Precious or Luxurious Chests in Natlan. You will initially get Purple Obsidian Fragments and three pieces automatically form one Purple Obsidian Ring.

To make the search more challenging, you can only get Obsidian Fragments by chance, which means not all Precious or Luxurious chests you open guarantee a piece of Obsidian Fragment inside.

Reward From Warrior's Challenges

Purple Obsidian Fragments can also be obtained from Warrior Challenges within the area of the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. Completing a Warrior Challenge can grant you a Purple Obsidian Fragment from the Precious Chest it rewards.

This is not guaranteed however and is still by chance.

Forward! And Forward Again!	Teleport at the waypoint, at southeast end of the Masters of the Night-Wind Tribe. Head South until you see a woman standing on a wooden platform with an Iktomisaur Spiritscone located near her.
Successfull Collection	Use the Statue of Seven west of the Flower-Feather Clan, then head southeast until you see a waterfall. Head down to the very bottom of the waterfall and you will see a woman from the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe.

How to Use Purple Obsidian Ring

Tribe Secret Trove Location

The location of the Master of the Night-Wind Tribe Secret Trove would be beneath the Statue of Seven, southeast of the Master of the Night-Wind tribe.

Simply, teleport at the Statue of Seven, head towards the northwest direction, then drop down the cliff until you see a wooden platform with wooden crates and railings.

Use to Open the Tribal Secret Trove

You can use the Purple Obsidian Rings to activate the entrance to the Masters of the Night-Wind's Secret Trove. Slotting in the Purple Obsidian Ring removes the barrier that keeps outsiders from entering!
