Well I kinda have to agree and disagree too I suppose. I agree that she can be 4 star since she is restricted on full hydro + cryo team to be best perfomance. But unlike Chev, she work too with other element in team, and her buff is greater than Chev. So yeah that maybe what makes her 5 star
Well seems like the reaction itself won't be a problem since Escoffier is created for Cryo dps solely to up the dmg they do from the cryo alone. Since the next anticipated Skirk is Cryo too, and she is a Hypercarry Dps one like Arlecchino, so it really doesn't matter about Freeze reaction itself
Yes she will, since Skirk too has the same restriction as Escoffier in which the team has to be hydro and cryo only, if not the dmg (skirk) or res (escoffier) will be lowered. So Skirk ideal or premium team is Skirk + Furina + Shenhe + Escoffier. Since Skirk scale ATK% too, so if you want the best then pull Escoffier weapon too.

Now lets remember that freezing is useless against bosses
designwise, maybe. kit, no. they only have three chars with good kit, and another three with meh kit but useful in dendro, otherwise are meh

she should've been a four star cause that design is underwhelming to say the least. chevreuse is a four star yet super important to overload teams, escoffier could've been the same
it took you awhile to notice, they are using fontaine animations 😂😂 Ifa is clorinde and xianyun animation when he attacks, the drop in quality was expected since late 2023, china entered a recession many companies had to reduced their budged
Characters, and sorta the game in general, started dropping in quality a bit after Fontaine finished and right before Natlan started. I'm glad people have finally started to noticed, the game has been a chore to play lately, nothing to look forward to. Shame cause I've been playing since Ver 1.1 and even when I wasn't enjoying Inazuma the characters were at least fun.

No lie, the natlan region and character design has been beyond horrendous, hoping escoffier and skirk turn out better but here's to hoping
I think they must have lost their main character designer around the same time as they lost the music guy. There's definitely a drop in quality somewhere in Fontaine, both for music and character design. Like, they had that bad ass concept art for Captain R and then turned her into Chasca. Instead of Kujoh Sara we are getting characters like Chevreuse - I like Chevy's personality and skills but she looks like she just stepped out of a no-budget 90s anime.
