perhaps Beidou's burst was a bad analogy. His mirrors don't bounce but each gives a separate attack, so maybe Raiden's E would be a better analogy. The point is, while he has any mirrors, not only does his NA get infused, each mirror active launches a high damage Dendro attack along side each NA. While it takes smart playing to get and keep 2-3 mirrors, the damage ceiling is extremely high.

In some ways he's like Keqing, however his damage ceiling is far higher. Think what would happen if Beidou's burst and Kazuha's buff were built into her kit. If played right, that's how Alhaitham's Dendro kit functions. Also, Deepwood Memories on any party member acts for Dendro like VV on Kazuha works for electro. Bennett can still work, since Alhaitham scales on both ATK and EM, but Nahida and/ or Baizhu are far stronger supports for him. Plus with how broken Dendro is, his kit is incredible.

So he just basically the male version of Keqing that can’t be buffed by Kazuha +Sara/Bennet?

Alhaitham needs as much Elemental Mastery and CRIT stats he can get with the Gilded Dreams build as a Dendro Main DPS. You will also need a Dendro support who can use the Deepwood Memories artifact set to provide the Dendro RES shred. I wonder about this part if I take Zhonli he has a passive skill to provide the elemental RES shred 20% when deepwood has 30% so I don't need a dendro support. (I choose between kirara and zhongli)

Easiest Alhaitham plunge with a hold-button and release of an E key. Much different than keqing's manual hold and tap range hold E's
