Id also add being high S doesn't make a character "bad" he is just not top 3 and anyone with sense in this game knows that, Game8 overrated him to high hell. if you like him he is strong and can clear abyss but he is not clearing or close to nuvi, arle or mualani
Nobody is arguing he doesn't do great damage but he doesn't belong with neuvillette or Arle and mualani does more damage and is just as F2P friendly if anything she should be SS, His DPS is high S teir at most, compared to the others the SS raiting is just Bias and wanking a character beyond their means. Nobody even believes in this top 3 anymore
okay, everybody in here saying he's doesn't deserve ss tier doesn't seem to understand that having a kit that doesn't pop up 100k's every second at c0 doesn't make a character bad. what also doesn't make a character bad is needing a f*cking team. keep in mind that he can't rely on kazuha or xilonen like other carries do!!! i was very skeptical of him too, lost on his weapon, now playing him with clorinde's for the crit. he's great, deserves ss tier, best dendro dps hands down.

Imagine being in SS rank when 60% of "your" damage is hyperbloom
because they like to ride alhaitham both navia and mualani with the release of Xilonen do much more DPR

ig u can say that if you are not using either spread, hyperbloom or burgeon you really need electro to make alhaitham SS (any electro sub dps tbh even lisa)

To be honest, the total maximum damage of a full team is not as high as other teams. The personal damage is not as high as other characters. The resources to upgrade the team are not less than other teams. It's just that the minimum damage is high, but the maximum damage can't compete with anyone. It's not as brainless as Neuvillette. But the tier ranking is based on strength or just a monkey brain. Because if you play well, many A-S characters finish much faster and have higher damage.
