Rev. NOiR Overview
Rev. NOiR is an upcoming action-adventure JRPG by Konami. It takes place in a world devastated by the Lightfall, a mysterious phenomenon in which drops of light fall from the sky and kill everything they touch. As the game’s amnesiac protagonist, players will set off on a mission to stop the Lightfall.
No announcement has been made regarding the release date of Rev. NOiR, but it will be available for the PlayStation 5.

Rev. NOiR Gameplay
Not much is known about the gameplay mechanics of Rev. NOiR, but the teaser trailer premiered during the 2026 February State of Play showcased snappy hack-and-slash combat against a hostile monster. Players can control the main character of Rev. NOiR who is equipped with a sword, but it is likely that there will be more playable characters who can wield magic and other melee weapons.
The combat also rewards precise timing, as the player is seen performing a perfect dodge that is immediately followed up with a heavy strike.
